Our Story

Hi! My name is Christina, Owner/Maker at NAPTIME Candles Co. (previously Seven-Scents Candles Co.).

As a Registered Nurse and mom of 4, I care deeply about the health of my family and want to create an environment in my home that positively impacts our well-being, starting with what we breathe in at home. I aim to create high-quality, beautiful candles with scents that evoke feelings of peace, joy, and in some cases, nostalgia.

How the Name Came to Be

Over the course of the last year, when I was asked, "When do you have the time to do this?" — a question usually asked while my four children were running around — I would answer each time, "During their Naptime!" Over time, I began thinking that would actually be a pretty great name for my company. And so, Seven-Scents Candles Co. has officially become NAPTIME Candles Co.

What We Make

At NAPTIME Candles Co., we handcraft 100% soy scented candles and wax melts in small batches right here in Birmingham, AL. We use just the right amount of fragrance oil to create a strong scent that fills a room without overpowering it.

We use ethically sourced, US-grown soybeans infused with fragrance oils from a supplier committed to avoiding carcinogens, toxins, and other hazardous chemicals commonly found in fragrance oils. Our candles are finished with a cotton paper wick without a zinc core. Wax melts are also made from ethically sourced soy wax with the same fragrance oils, and are sold in recyclable clamshell containers.

We believe in handcrafting amazing candles priced in a way that is attainable to a wide range of people. You should never have to sacrifice your well-being to enjoy something beautiful and fragrant.
