The short story: smells similar to chai tea! The longer story: Since before I was born, my family has been making a spices-infused black tea drink called "spiced tea." It is made from black tea and infused with citrus juices, cinnamon sticks and cloves. With this candle, we can keep the rich spirit of Spiced Tea alive all year round! This candle is an homage to my grandmother who first introduced our family to it decades ago.

GREAT gift for a teacher
Gave one to my kid's Sunday school teacher and she LOVED it. Handmade and small batch means a lot when you're saying thank you to somebody who pours into your children. Will be buying more for the holidays.

Worth writing a long review over
I don't usually leave reviews but I've bought this scent enough times that I figured I owed one. It opens with clove and orange peel and then settles into this soft black tea underneath that keeps it from ever getting sharp. I burn it from the first cool morning of October all the way through New Year's. What really sold me is the consistency. I've had jars from what has to be three or four different batches now and they all smell identical and burn the same length of time. That's not something I can say about the candles I used to buy at the mall. Give it a good long first burn so the pool reaches the edge and you'll never fight a tunnel. Cannot recommend it enough.

Not overpowering and seems to have just the right blend of ingredients to remind you of a nice cup of spiced tea.I love the high quality of workmanship that obviously goes into the hand made preparation.
